Abstract

La Pologne est l’un des États membres de l’Union européenne (UE) les plus dépendants du charbon — l’un de ses plus grands pollueurs — et elle s’oppose en permanence à toute augmentation des ambitions climatiques, poussée par l’UE. En 2020, elle a été le seul État membre de l’UE à ne pas signer le Pacte vert (Green Deal) européen, un document qui prévoit de faire de l’Europe le premier continent neutre en carbone d’ici 2050. Cet article explique le contexte et les raisons de cette décision.
