Following data collection was achieved in the Mayoralties of the state, among other tourismrelated organizations. Following the methodology issued by the Tourism Corporation of Venezuela, it is concluded that the Mérida state, in addition to the natural and cultural recreational attractions, has a great number of tourist structures consisting of receptive and complementary facilities and infrastructure which, far from being expanded, should be improved and adequate.
