Abstract

El objeto de este ensayo es analizar la evolución del pensamiento económico en la personalidad de Arturo Uslar Pietri: del capitalismo de Estado a una sociedad de mercado. En esa dirección, se revisó todo el material escrito por Arturo Uslar Pietri, desde 1936 hasta 1990, con la finalidad de descubrir el origen, evolución y declinación del pensamiento estatal y su cambio vital para abrazar la tendencia liberal.
