An image: An application of the statistical analysis of multiple correspondences

Abstract

Por medio del análisis estadístico de correspondencias múltiples se analizan, simultáneamente, las opiniones del venezolano acerca de la imagen de los supuestos infractores de cinco conductas delictivas y del castigo que se considera más adecuado a cada caso. Sin duda alguna, los entrevistados -personas de distintas partes de la geografía nacional- establecieron diferencias de clases sociales entre los cinco tipos de delincuentes, escogiendo la alternativa del peor castigo para los autores de los hechos delictivos considerados a priori, como de baja clase social. La viveza criolla es un aspecto que sale a relucir en este análisis estadístico cuando se detecta que un delito cometido, supuestamente; por una persona acomodada no es mal visto por la mayoría de las personas entrevistadas.
