Abstract

Se expondrá en este artículo un ingenioso método matemático para obtener las fórmulas sobre los números índices. El mismo fue ideado por F. Divisia en 1925-1926, y en este trabajo se hace una extensión a otros índices más comunes en la literatura de la Estadística Económica. Está basado en la utilización de una ecuación diferencial general, cuya solución particular bajo determinadas condiciones iniciales da origen a los números índices: Laspeyres, Paashe, Fisher, Marshall y Keynes.
