The evolution of Universidad de Los Andes expenditures analyzed by means of economic classification (period 1972- 1980)

Abstract

Es bien sabido que las Universidades Nacionales son consideradas como Establecimientos Públicos Corporativos de Administración Descentralizada. Ello significa, entre otras cosas, que tales Instituciones están obligadas a operar con presupuestos anuales, en virtud del artículo 20 de la Ley de Universidades, razón por la cual ellas incursionan en el campo de los Ingresos, por una parte, y en el de los Gastos, por la otra. En una esfera como en la otra, son múltiples y muy variados los análisis que pueden hacerse del presupuesto universitario, tanto globalmente como para cualquiera de ellas por separado.
