Ecologization of economic development as a factor for production modernization

Abstract

The paper considers ecologization of economic development as one of the forms of ecological modernization. Directions of ecologization of economic development in the main areas of public life have been revealed. The paper substantiates the necessity of transition to the innovation model of development of the national economy as the main way of ecologically safe production modernization and introduction of resource-saving processes. The environmental innovations and their role in the process of ecologization of economic development have been considered.
