Abstract

The practice of state fiscal control in developed foreign countries in terms of European integration requires appropriate change both in state fiscal control and public audit. Analysis of the legislation of foreign countries regarding the activities of independent state financial control authorities brings about the need to improve the efficiency of state fiscal control in Ukraine. The use of this type of audit (efficiency audit) by control bodies facilitates controllability and transparency of the economy's public sector.
