Development of industrial parks in Ukraine: problems and promotion policy directions

Abstract

The importance of implementing a consistent policy to stimulate the development of industrial parks in Ukraine has been proved. Industrial parks are a synergetic mechanism to stimulate investment and innovation which causes impact multi-systemic effect on the economy, contributing to structural and technological modernization of the economy while also influence local and regional development. The regulatory framework and the results of the creation of industrial parks in Ukraine have been analysed. The problems that hinder effective process of industrial parks have been revealed. Directions of improving public policies to encourage the creation and operation of industrial parks have been offered.
