Status and prospects of the Ukrainian economy's agricultural sector adaptation to global climate changes

Abstract

The status of Ukraine's implementation of Rio Conventions has been analysed, to ensure sustainable development of the agricultural sector in terms of the ecological crisis and the impact of climate changes on maintaining the State ration safety. The complex of legislative enactments for adaptation to global climate changes has been proposed, taking into consideration modern institutional status of the industry and the progressive degradation of agricultural landscapes, the need for innovative development as well as environmental and social challenges. The importance and innovative directions of rational water usage in terms of climate changes have been shown.
