Financing of innovative development: the experience of Poland and recommendations for Ukraine

Abstract

In the article the current state and evolution of financing of innovative development in Poland had been studied. The stages of the model of innovative development formation have been analysed that allowed to focus on the main directions and priorities of national innovative activity's stimulation. The structure of innovative activity's financing in Poland has been proven. It shows the diversification of financial resources' sources in this country. According to the particularities of innovative development's financing at the different levels, it has been concluded the importance of cooperation and coordination of priorities at the regional, state and European levels for innovative development in Poland. The analysis of sources of innovative development's financing in Ukraine shows that the own resources of innovative active entities make the main part of such sources. The industrial structure of financing innovative development isn't diversified enough. As the result, the attention is paid to the problems of innovative development's financing in Ukraine. In the article the recommendations to solve such problems have been suggested.
