Abstract

The author develops following formulas: synergistic effect of the simultaneous implementation of all potentials, quantitative growth of socio-economic development of the region, the level of region’s potential, the effectiveness of regional activities, and integral index of regional development. The author proposes major changes in the biological, organizational, technological, social and economic potential, which in its comprehensive balance create the preconditions for providing the potential agricultural production as a major component of the company’s synergistic effect. It is established that the assessment of the regional activity is recommended on the basis of multivariate analysis model. By comparing actual performance indicators with calculated values it makes it possible to determine the effectiveness of management actions to ensure the competitiveness of the region as a system, and in particular the agricultural sector.
