Analisis faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat pengangguran terbuka di Indonesia tahun 2015-2020

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in Indonesia in terms of Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB), Domestic Investment (PMDN), Foreign Investment (PMA), and Technology. Methods – This study uses panel data for the 2015-2020 period in 34 provinces in Indonesia. Findings – The results of this study indicate that the PDRB, PMA, and Technology have a negative effect on the Open Unemployment Rate. In contrast, PMDN does not affect the Open Unemployment Rate. Implication – The results of this study recommend that policymakers in dealing with open unemployment in Indonesia are to formulate development policies and strategies to increase PDRB by optimizing sectoral economic approaches, facilitating licensing and creating a conducive investment climate for foreign investors, as well as increasing the development of information technology infrastructure and communication (TIK) in all provinces in Indonesia. Originality – This research analyzes the factors affecting Indonesia's open unemployment rate. Abstrak Tujuan – Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor yang mempengaruhi Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT) di Indonesia dari sisi Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB), Penanaman Modal Dalam Negeri (PMDN), Penanaman Modal Asing (PMA), dan Teknologi Metode – Penelitian ini menggunakan data panel periode 2015-2020 pada 34 provinsi di Indonesia. Temuan – Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa PDRB, PMA, dan Teknologi berpengaruh negatif terhadap Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka, sedangkan PMDN tidak berpengaruh terhadap Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka. Implikasi – Hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan kepada pengambil kebijakan dalam menangani pengangguran terbuka di Indonesia adalah dengan membuat kebijakan dan strategi pembangunan untuk meingkatkan PDRB dengan mengoptimalkan pendekatan ekonomi sektoral, memudahkan perizinan dan menciptakan iklim investasi yang kondusif untuk investor asing, serta meningkatkan pembangunan infrastruktur teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) di seluruh provinsi di Indonesia. Orisinalitas – Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam menganalisis faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat pengangguran terbuka di Indonesia.
