Analisis pengaruh human capital investment terhadap produk domestik regional bruto di Pulau Jawa

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to analyze the effect of human capital investment on gross regional domestic product in Java. Methods – This research was conducted on the island of Java for the 2017-2021 period for all provinces on the island of Java (DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, DI Yogyakarta, and Banten) using the Panel Data method. Findings – The results of this study found that the Realization of the Education Budget and the Realization of the Health Budget had a positive influence on the Gross Regional Domestic Product in Java Island in 2017-2021. Meanwhile, Domestic Investment and Foreign Investment in Java have no effect on Gross Regional Domestic Product. Implication – This research has implications for increasing policies in the education and health budgets to increase gross domestic product in Java. Originality – This study contributes to analyzing the contribution of investment in human capital to gross domestic product in Java using a panel data approach. Abstrak Tujuan – Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis pengaruh dari human capital investment terhadap produk domestik regional bruto di Pulau Jawa. Metode – Penelitian ini dilakukan di Pulau Jawa untuk periode 2017-2021 untuk seluruh provinsi di pulau Jawa (DKI Jakarta, Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, Jawa Timur, DI Yogyakarta, dan Banten) menggunakan metode Panel Data. Temuan – Hasil studi ini menemukan bahwa Realisasi Anggaran Pendidikan dan Realisasi Anggaran Kesehatan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap Produk Domestik Regional Bruto di Pulau Jawa Tahun 2017-2021. Sementara itu, Penanaman Modal Dalam Negeri dan Penanaman Modal Luar Negeri di Pulau Jawa tidak berpengaruh terhadap Produk Domestik Regional Bruto. Implikasi – Penelitian ini berimplikasi terhadap adanya peningkatan kebijakan dalam anggaran pendidikan dan kesehatan untuk meningkatkan produk domestik bruto di Pulau Jawa. Orisinalitas – Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam menganalisis kontribusi investasi pada modal manusia terhadap produk domestik bruto di Pulau Jawa menggunakan pendekatan data panel.
