Determinan migrasi risen masuk ke Provinsi Jawa Barat periode 2000-2015

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to analyze the factors influencing recent migration to West Java Province. Methods – This study combines time series and cross-section data with panel data regression analysis methods. Findings – The results of this study indicate that the ratio of wages and the ratio of the number of industries have a negative effect on recent migration to West Java Province. Meanwhile, the GRDP ratio and the ratio of the number of universities have no impact on recent migration to West Java Province. Implication – The policy implications of this research are that the government needs to implement an equitable development strategy in all regions and make efforts to increase income and job opportunities in all areas. Originality – This study contributes to analyzing the determinants of recent migration to West Java Province using panel data analysis Abstrak Tujuan – Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi migrasi risen yang masuk ke Provinsi Jawa Barat. Metode – Penelitian ini menggunakan gabungan data time series dan cross section dengan metode analisis regresi data panel. Temuan – Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa rasio upah dan rasio jumlah industri berpengaruh negatif terhadap migrasi risen yang masuk ke Provinsi Jawa Barat. Sementara itu variabel rasio PDRB dan rasio jumlah perguruan tinggi tidak berpengaruh terhadap migrasi risen masuk ke Provinsi Jawa Barat. Implikasi – Implikasi kebijakan dari penelitian ini yaitu pemerintah perlu melaksanakan strategi pembangunan yang merata di seluruh daerah, serta melakukan upaya meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesempatan kerja di seluruh daerah. Orisinalitas – Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam menganalisis determinan migrasi risen yang masuk ke Provinsi Jawa Barat dengan menggunakan analisis data panel.
