La sustitución de trabajo, capital humano y capital físico en la industria manufacturera chilena

Abstract

Las funciones de producción tienen varios usos. Primero, son una parte integral del modelo de la empresa, y , por lo tanto, se usan para determinar el nivel de equilibrio del producto y de los insumos de la empresa (véase, por ejemplo, Jorgenson, 1972; Nadiri y Rosen, 1973). Segundo, sirven para estudiar el cambio en los insumos demadados frente a una variación en sus precios relativos (Behrman, 1972; Berndt y Wood, 1975; t Pindyck,1977). Tercero, se utilizan para medir la contribución de los insumos al producto en estudios de productividad (Nadiri,1969).
