Teorías del comercio internacional. Modelos y algunas evidencias empíricas: una revisión bibliográfica

Abstract

El objetivo central de este trabajo es presentar, sobre la base de un estudio bibliográfico de material relativamente reciente, las teorías más importantes acerca de la composición del comercio internacional, junto con algunas evidencias empíricas existentes que son útiles e interesantes para determinar la validez de esas teorías, enfatizando su aplicabilidad en países subdesarrollados. Es obvio que cualquiera de esas teorías pretende ser básicamente positiva, en el sentido de explicar y predecir lo que sucedería si sus supuestos se cumplen. Sin embargo, cada una de ellas tiene implicancias normativas, respecto a cómo mejorar la situación de un país determinado.
