La economía política de la agricultura chilena: un enfoque econométrico

Abstract

Las implicancias de las políticas de precios agrícolas en el financiamiento de la investigación agropecuaria son explícitamente capturadas a partir de un conjunto de ecuaciones estructurales que cubre un importante período del acontecer político de Chile. El modelo de economía política incluye cuatro bloques de ecuaciones estimadas simultáneamente como un sistema interdependiente. El nivel de las políticas de precios y gastos públicos en investigación resulta de la acción colectiva ejercida sobre el gobierno por grupos de productores, consumidores y contribuyentes involucrados en la producción, consumo y financiamiento de la agricultura.
