Recuperación mundial y perspectivas de la deuda

Abstract

A través de ejercicios de simulación, usando el sistema de Proyecto LINK, se analiza si las exportaciones de América Latina crecerían a un ritmo mayor que las tasas de interés internacionales. Al concluirse que ello no ocurriría, se estudian diversos escenarios basados en una recuperación más rápida de los países desarrollados y en políticas monetarias más expansivas que harían bajar las tasas reales de interés. Finalmente se concluye que si bien la recuperación de los países desarrollados ayudará a mejorar la posición de los países deudores y de América Latina en particular, ella no va a resolver el problema del endeudamiento excesivo por sí sola.
