Abstract

La severidad de la crisis por la que atraviesan actualmente una serie de economías en desarrollo ha motivado por parte de las diferentes autoridades la adopción de un conjunto de medidas tendientes a aliviar esta difícil situación. Dentro de las medidas adoptadas, ha sobresalido la utilización de diversos mecanismos dirigidos a restringir el volumen de comercio internacional, los que han sido fundamentados en la existencia de ciertas distorsiones en el intercambio de bienes con el exterior, básicamente originadas por el uso de prácticas desleales de competencia por parte de algunos socios comerciales en ciertos rubros específicos.
