Abstract

With the increasing interest in ecosystem and the spread of its concepts in sustainability and green organizations, green management literature is expanding further. Consequently, management boards endeavor to develop this distinguished feature in their organizations. With the spread of ecology-related models and concepts, developing a coherent model for green textile management deems necessary. That being said, a systematic model can be highly practical. The literature relating sustainability and green concepts was reviewed. Then, having introduced various components, with an emphasis on the urgency of demand-driven technology policy, a model was proposed for green textile management. Having reviewed the literature and relying on the panel of experts, a systematic model for green textile management was proposed with an emphasis on demand-driven technology policy, Green textile management is one of the operational solutions. With its problem-solving approach, it can improve organizational performance, while minimizing environmental hazards. Therefore, green textile management can be highly advantageous.
