Geometric Figure Drawing Using Modern Programming Languages

Abstract

The present article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of drawing geometric figuresusing modern programming languages such as Python (with the Turtle and Matplotlib libraries), JavaScript(with HTML5 Canvas and SVG), and Java (with Java2D). The study analyzes the capabilities of each languageand its associated graphical tools for rendering two-dimensional and three-dimensional geometric shapes.Comparative analysis of algorithmic approaches to figure construction, coordinate-based transformations, andobject-oriented design patterns applicable to computational geometry is provided. The research highlightsthe pedagogical and practical significance of integrating geometric visualization into programming curricula atuniversities. Experimental results demonstrate that Python offers the most accessible entry point for educationalpurposes, while JavaScript provides superior cross-platform interactivity, and Java delivers robust performancefor complex computational geometry tasks.
