Abstract

This study investigates the improvement of strategic management systems in modern enterprises operatingwithin dynamic and competitive market environments. The primary research objectives are to evaluate thecurrent state of strategic management practices, identify critical gaps in existing frameworks, and propose aset of evidence-based recommendations to enhance organizational performance. A mixed-methods researchapproach was adopted, integrating both quantitative survey data collected from 120 managers across variousindustries and qualitative insights gathered through structured interviews with 15 senior executives. The studyfindings reveal that enterprises employing integrated strategic management frameworks—combining balancedscorecard methodologies, dynamic capability development, and digital transformation strategies—achievesignificantly higher performance outcomes compared to those relying on conventional planning approaches. Keyfindings indicate that organizations scoring above the median on strategic integration indices outperform peersby an average of 23% in revenue growth and 18% in operational efficiency. From a theoretical perspective, thisresearch contributes to the strategic management literature by extending the dynamic capabilities frameworkinto the digital era, offering a synthesized model applicable to transitional and emerging market economies.Practically, the findings provide managers and policymakers with actionable tools for redesigning strategyformulation and execution processes. Limitations include the cross-sectional nature of the data and geographicconcentration within Uzbekistan, which may restrict generalizability. Future research should employ longitudinaldesigns and expand to multi-country contexts to validate and extend these findings
