Abstract

This article examines the methodological foundations of financial support mechanisms aimed at developingadditional economic activities in farm enterprises under conditions of economic modernization and rural transformation. The study analyzes the role of diversified farm activities in increasing rural incomes, ensuring financial sustainability, improving employment opportunities, and strengthening food security. Particular attention is paid to the financialinstruments supporting non-core agricultural activities, including preferential loans, subsidies, grants, leasing mechanisms, agricultural insurance, and public-private partnership models. The research investigates international experiences and theoretical approaches related to agricultural diversificationand rural finance. Empirical evidence indicates that the expansion of additional activities in farm enterprises contributessignificantly to reducing production risks, stabilizing cash flows, and increasing the competitiveness of agriculturalproducers. The study also evaluates the institutional and financial barriers limiting diversification processes in rural areas, including insufficient access to credit resources, low investment attractiveness, infrastructural constraints, and limitedfinancial literacy among farmers.Based on comprehensive analysis, the paper proposes a methodological framework for improving financial supportsystems for diversified farm development. The proposed model integrates financial accessibility, digital financial services, risk management instruments, and state support mechanisms into a unified system aimed at enhancing the economicefficiency and sustainability of farm enterprises. The findings of the study have scientific and practical significance for policymakers, financial institutions, and agriculturaldevelopment agencies involved in the modernization of the rural economy and the formation of sustainable agriculturalfinancing systems
