Abstract

This article examines approaches to enhancing the mechanisms for monitoring regional development withinthe framework of the digital economy. The study analyzes the system of indicators used to assess the socio-economicdevelopment of regions and explores the potential of digital technologies in strengthening monitoring processes.Particular attention is given to the application of modern information technologies, including big data analytics, geographicinformation systems (GIS), and e-government platforms, as effective tools for improving the management of regionaldevelopment.The findings of the study offer practical recommendations aimed at optimizing regional monitoring systems and promotingthe efficient use of digital data to support informed and timely decision-making processes
