Abstract

This study aims to examine the practical measures implemented to promote the development of eco-tourism inthe districts of the Samarkand region of Uzbekistan and to analyze their effectiveness within the framework of regionalsustainable development policy. Based on a systematic assessment of protected areas and lands whose tourism potentialhas not yet been fully identified or effectively utilized, the research proposes organizational and economic mechanismsaimed at improving the efficiency and long-term sustainability of ecological tourism development. These mechanismscontribute to identifying strategic development priorities and strengthening the role of eco-tourism as an important driverof regional socio-economic growth and environmental protection.
