Abstract

В статье рассматривается роль туризма в обеспечении устойчивого социально-экономическогоразвития государства. На основе статистических данных международных организаций и национальныхисточников проведён сравнительный анализ вклада туристической отрасли в экономику ведущих туристическихстран и Республики Узбекистан. Определены ключевые тенденции развития туризма в Узбекистане и обосновананеобходимость внедрения принципов устойчивого туризма как важного условия повышения эффективности иконкурентоспособности национальной экономики
