The study examines the theoretical foundations of digital currencies, analyzes international casestudies of CBDC implementation and crypto-asset usage, and evaluates regulatory and macroeconomic factors thatdetermine the effectiveness of digital currencies as an investment promotion tool. Particular attention is paid to thereduction of transaction costs, increased transparency of financial operations, and enhanced financial inclusion. Thefindings suggest that digital currencies can contribute to investment attraction provided that a stable regulatory framework, effective supervision, and macroeconomic stability are ensured
