Abstract

M&A activities play an important role in market positioning and competitive advantages. Jointstock companies can strengthen their market presence by acquiring or merging with competitors, entering new markets, or expanding product/service offerings. In addition, M&A transactions provide access to strategic assets, intellectual property or talent, which allow companies to gain a competitive advantage. The importance of mergers and acquisitions in the development of joint-stock companies cannot be overstated. M&A transactions allow companies to expand, create synergies, gain competitive advantage, improve financial performance and reduce risks. Through the strategic use of M&A, joint stock companies can navigate the evolving business landscape and position themselves for sustainable growth and success.
