Abstract

This article analyzes research that builds on successes and lessons learned from previous strategies and incorporatesnew initiatives to address emerging needs and challenges. Overall, Uzbekistan’s education sector has made significantprogress in expanding access and improving quality, but there is still work to be done, particularly in terms of studentinclusion and gender equality. Continuous support from the state, strategic planning and international cooperation to furtherimprove the educational system of Uzbekistan and expand its institutional capabilities for a bright future are of priority.
