Liquidity and recent changes of government securities market in the United States, the United Kingdom and Japan

Abstract

this article examines recent developments in the structure and liquidity of the major government bond markets(US, UK and Japan) and examines the liquidity of the government bond market (and related repo and futures markets),including changes in the behavior of bonds changes were analyzed. In particular, the participation of various market participants(especially dealers) and the factors of market participants’ behavior were studied, as well as the factors ensuringthe stability of government bond markets were determined.
