Abstract

LabVIEW interface design for chaos-based medical image encryption applications was the aim of this study. For the design of a random number generator, LabVIEW analyzed a chaotic system. Users can enter initial values, system variables, and the number of bits of random numbers to generate using the interface developed for this design. With this interface, you can view phase portraits and time series of the system as well. A test was conducted on NIST-800-22 to determine whether the random numbers produced are reliable. Moreover, LabVIEW can be used to produce medicinal images while selecting random numbers to facilitate easy encryption. Several commonly accepted tests in the literature were performed on the application, including the histogram entropy, correlation, UACI, and NPCR. A UACI test gives a score of 0,29265 and 0,2939, while an NPCR test gives a score of 0,99573 and 0,99605. A reliable software solution is demonstrated by the results.
