Abstract

When foreign companies invest in other countries, cultural differences emerge that affect the employees' productivity. There are several studies regarding the different cultural factors that affect company and employee productivity, not only in the psychological domain, but also in the organizational domain. A survey was developed to study and assess the psychological and organizational cultural factors that can affect the performance of the employee in foreign companies established in the northeast of Mexico. The results show that leadership style and family values are the most important factors influencing the performance of the worker.
