Abstract

Control and synchronisation of chaotic systems have received much attention due to their various potential applications. In this paper, the predefined-time master–slave synchronisation of two chaotic systems is investigated. With the help of two different predefined-time stability theorems, two controllers are designed to achieve the predefined-time synchronisation of two nonidentical chaotic systems. Then based on inequality techniques and a Lyapunov function, some new sufficient criteria are obtained to ensure that two nonidentical chaotic systems achieve predefined-time synchronisation. Finally, numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of our new results.
