Experimental study on the signal characteristics and interference application of multi-antenna synthetic wave

Abstract

The multi-antenna synthetic false target jamming technique is a kind of angle deception jamming method against monopulse radar. Based on the Equivalent Radiation Center (ERC) analysis and the multi-antenna synthetic false target analysis, the signal characteristics of multi-antenna synthetic wave are studied in this paper through electromagnetic simulation and physical experiments. The main work includes the calibration and positioning of the experimental device, the measurement of the spatial wave loss of the single-point source antenna in space transmission, and the test of the synthetic wave signal based on three horn antennas. It is verified that the phase plane with any angle distortion can be synthesized by flexibly controlling the feed amplitude and phase values of the multi-antenna system, and thus the synthesis of ERC points at any position in the two-dimensional plane can be completed. The feasibility of multi-antenna synthetic false target jamming technology is verified.
