A Reply to Howard Sherman
In the Spring 1998 (56(1): 47-58) issue of this journal, Howard Sherman criticized the alleged methodological individualism and critique of Marxism by Geoffrey Hodgson. This reply denies that Hodgson is a methodological individualist and defends his Veblenian criticism of Marx. It is also contended that Marx was not a Darwinian and did not incorporate essential Darwinian ideas in his thinking.
