Abstract

Today, in the context of economic globalization, during the process of the expansion of the multinational companies, specialized research, alongside economic practice demonstrate how important it is to master the organizational culture, in order to be successful in business, and to avoid failure. The Romanian scientific management society wishes, through the COMOR project to identify the cultural dimensions that characterize organizational management from our country, from all areas, and from the most representative domains of economic activity. My article presents the results of the research centered on the cultural dimension named “distance towards power” in the economic organizations from the Valcea county.
