Influence of Management Capabilities on Project Success: Studying the Mediating Role of Conceptual Competency and the Moderating Effect of Technological Capabilities among Women Entrepreneurs in Developing Economies

Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates the influence of management capabilities on project success among women entrepreneurs in developing economies, emphasizing the mediating role of conceptual competency and the moderating effect of technological capabilitiesDesign/Methodology/Approach: A quantitative research design has been adopted using survey data collected from women leading small- and medium-scale entrepreneurial projects.&Data will be analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test direct, mediating, and moderating relationships among variables.Findings: The findings will provide valuable insights for policymakers, NGOs, and entrepreneurship development institutions to design targeted interventions that strengthen managerial and technological capabilities among women.Implications/Originality/Value: The current literature is contributed to by the paper through the analysis of the impact of managerial competencies on the success of projects undertaken by women entrepreneurs. The role of conceptual competency is highlighted as an intervening variable and technological competencies are identified as a moderator by this research. Effective policies for empowering women entrepreneurs through managerial and technological competencies are designed based on the benefits of the paper.
