Research on the Impact of Digital Economy on Green Technology Innovation Under the Goal of

Abstract

From the perspective of input and output, indicators were constructed to measure the green technology innovation and digital economy development capabilities of 244 prefecture-level cities in China from 2010 to 2019. The spatial Durbin model was used to analyze the relationship between the two, as well as the impact factors of barrier degree, urban geographic location and population size heterogeneity. Finally, suggestions were put forward based on the actual urban development. The results show that: (1) The Moran's I of green technology innovation in 244 cities in China from 2010 to 2019 mainly clustered in the first and third quadrants, with local spatial clustering. When the development of digital economy increases by 1%, green technology innovation will increase by 0.268%, and the related indicators of early investment are at the forefront of the impact of obstacle degree. (2) From the perspective of utility decomposition, the impact of digital economy on green technology innovation is mainly concentrated in the direct effect, the promotion effect of neighboring areas on local is not significant, and the overall effect has a time lag; (3) From the perspective of geographical location, its promotion effect exists only in the eastern region. From the perspective of different urban population sizes, its promoting effect exists in both megacities and big cities. Â
