Abstract

The current period is difficult for the country’s economy and society as it necessitates rapid adaptation to emerging threats and the search for effective ways to counteract sanctions pressure. Despite the sanctions, the Russian economy is steadily growing. At the same time, the accumulated development potential is not fully utilized, which is due not only to the need to correct past mistakes, but also to the necessary search for ways to overcome new challenges. The article discusses some previously accumulated shortcomings in using the potential of economic development and possible ways to overcome them.
