Abstract

Zusammenfassung Obwohl Verbriefungen in der Finanzkrise zweifelsohne eine krisenverstärkende Rolle gespielt haben, waren sie für deutsche firmenkunden vor, während und nach der Krise von hoher Stabilität geprägt und haben betriebswirtschaftlich und volkswirtschaftlich einen beachtlichen Nutzen erbracht. Industrieunternehmen setzen diese Art von finanzierungen ein, um ein zusätzliches finanzierungsinstrument vorzuhalten, dass weniger stark von der Bonität des eigenen Unternehmens abhängig ist, kreditlinien bei Banken schont und die bilanzstruktur verbessern kann. banken wiederum profitieren vom im Vergleich zum unbesicherten kredit reduzierten risikoprofil des Produktes, was sich auch bei verschiedenen Insolvenzsituationen in Deutschland bewährt hat. Das Regelwerk für Verbriefungen für banken bildet die risiken derzeit nicht adäquat ab.
