The stability of the Riemann solutions for the non-symmetry Keyfitz–Kranzer system with Chaplygin pressure

Abstract

Under the local small perturbation of the Riemann initial data, we study the stability of Riemann solutions for Chaplygin gas equation as a special case of non-symmetric Keyfitz–Kranzer systems. We construct the global solutions of the perturbed Riemann problem. As the perturbed parameter $$\varepsilon$$ ε tends to zero, we show that there is no mass concentration even the initial perturbed density depends on the parameter $$\varepsilon$$ ε .
