Abstract

In recent years, with the development of web-media sharing platform, the demand for network speed is gradually higher, and the service quality of streaming media online platform is effectively improved to meet the huge demand for network speed and information processing at present and in the future. First, the present work describes the principle and advantages of edge computing (EC) technology, and then proposes to apply service-oriented architecture (SOA) technology to streaming media. Moreover, it applies EC technology to the construction of this platform, so that data transmission and processing can be carried out normally. Finally, the online platform of SOA architecture and streaming media technology based on EC is tested. The research results show that the application of EC technology and SOA architecture in the construction of online platform of streaming media technology can improve the data transmission and data processing of the original streaming media platform, SOA architecture makes the data processing of online platform more efficient, and the use of EC technology makes the management of the platform more efficient and more accurate. This shows that EC technology can effectively improve the data processing efficiency and management ability of streaming media platform. The results provide a new direction for the application of emerging computer technology in streaming media online platform, and sets an example for future related research. Besides, the main contribution is to verify the possibility of combining SOA architecture and streaming media platform. The results show that the SOA architecture by EC and the online platform of streaming media technology have lower latency, more timely data processing, and lower cost. The SOA architecture combined with EC technology and streaming media technology can make the online platform data processing and transmission efficiency higher and the platform quality better. Meanwhile, the research results provide a reliable basis for the joint optimization of resource scheduling problem of convective media edge cloud.
