Vaccination des enfants de 28 mois à Genève, Suisse: évolution sur six ans, 1995–2000

Abstract

Objectifs: Évolution de la couverture vaccinale des enfants de 28 mois à Genève entre 1995 et 2000. Méthodes : Analyse exhaustive des carnets de vaccination collectés en routine et enquête complémentaire d’un échantillon de non répondants. Résultats: Parmi les 25 288 enfants inclus (taux de réponse 91%), 96% avaient reçu trois doses de vaccin contre la diphtérie et le tétanos, 94% la coqueluche et la poliomyélite, et 84% Haemophilus influenzae. La couverture rougeole (une dose) était de 88%. Conclusions: Des données collectées en routine permettent de suivre la couverture vaccinale. La couverture vaccinale pour la rougeole à Genève est insuffisante pour prévenir des épidémies. Copyright Birkhäuser Verlag, Basel 2005
