Abstract

The author reviews the history, symptoms and signs of acute hepatitis B and its differential diagnosis. Special emphasis is laid on its natural history and the discussion of uncomplicated acute hepatitis B, fulminant hepatitis and chronic HBV infection. Copyright Birkhäuser Verlag 1998
