Abstract

The book delivers a thorough discussion of how COVID-19 has affected innovation systems in a range of industries and regions. It underscores the necessity for flexible and resilient innovation strategies during the pandemic disruptions, and provides insightful information on the opportunities and challenges that have taken place. In the review, I explore the main ideas and points comprehended in the book, emphasising its importance for researchers and economists who work in academia and government institutions. I talk about how the books suppositions guide policies to strengthen the ability for innovation and promote long-term and sustainable economic growth, especially in emerging countries. I also provide constructive criticism of the book, highlighting its constraints.
