The basic stages and features of Russian M&A development

Abstract

In the article the classification of key stages of Russian M&A development on the basis of complex characteristic of each period is suggested. Author allocates six stages of formation and development of the merges and absorption in Russia, opens the most essential features of transactions, institutional preconditions and macroeconomic conditions. The special attention is given to the analysis of dynamics quantitative and cost indexes of Russian M&A from 2008 till the present days and to forecasts for immediate prospects.
