The role of open innovation in enhancing the competitiveness of the transport industry

Abstract

With increased competition mechanisms aimed at improving the competitiveness of enterprises acquire of great importance. One of the directions to achieve this goal is to offer consumers new services. The open innovation are the source of new ideas in most cases. The author showed an example of innovation in enterprises of railway transport.
