Abstract

The Russian natural resources (primarily, the power production-related resources) have been regarded as the country's indisputable competitive advantage for a long time. It is clear today that the energy production issues the mankind faces cannot be resolved unless the nuclear power is used. That is why the following question becomes topical: is there a direct correlation between the Russian economy competitiveness level and the atomic power production sector development stage? Igor Ostretsov discusses this question here.
