Abstract

This paper focuses on the application of anthropological approach to the organizational conflict resolution. The similarities between the researcher of traditional cultures and the researcher of organizational culture are especially stressed; it is helpful for understanding the organization as a subject of anthropological studies. The theoretical foundations of anthropological understanding of organizations within the framework of constructivist and narrative approach are also described. The second part of this paper discusses anthropological approach to collective disputes resolution. A particular emphasis is placed on the methods from the arsenal of cultural anthropology - the methods which can be used to hammer out an agreement in a situation of conflict . The main issue here is the process of deconstruction of the conflict saturated narration and the process of construction of the new narration, which will allow for the resolution of the conflict.
